ImmForms Plus 5.3 CD System Requirements
Compatibility and Support:
IMPORTANT Note regarding compatibility and support: ImmForms Plus is designed to be compatible with the standard Windows operating systems listed below, and West Customer Technical Support is available to all users within those environments. Thomson Reuters West does not claim compatibility with any other operating systems or multi-user environments such as Microsoft's 64-bit Windows operating system, Mac OS, Linux, Novell, Citrix, Terminal Services, etc., and we are unable to provide support for ImmForms Plus in any alternate environments.
Before attempting to install and run ImmForms Plus, make sure your system meets the requirements listed below:
Local Installations:
Requirements for a standalone PC installation. These requirements apply when your client and database are both installed on a PC and no database is networked:
- One of the following operating systems:
- Microsoft Windows Vista Home, Premium, Business, Enterprise, or Ultimate edition
- Microsoft Windows XP Home, Professional, or Media edition, SP2 (or later)
- Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional, SP4 (or later)
- Pentium III 750 MHz
- 512 MB of available RAM
- 400 MB hard-disk space for the program files; more may be needed depending on the size of your client data files
- Double-speed or faster CD-ROM drive
- Monitor supporting 800 x 600 or higher resolution
- A PDF reader such as Adobe Reader or Foxit Reader, installed separately from the ImmForms Plus program
Network Server (database) Installations:
A network server installation installs the ImmForms Plus database on a network server so that it can be accessed by multiple users. Those users must run ImmForms Plus as a client. (To install ImmForms Plus as a client on those users' computers, see "Client installation," on page 11 of the 5.2 User Guide.) Network server requirements for installing the client on a PC and the database to a separate, network server:
- One of the following operating systems:
- Microsoft Windows Vista Home, Premium, Business, Enterprise, or Ultimate edition
- Microsoft Windows XP Home, Professional, or Media edition, SP2 (or later)
- Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional, SP4 (or later)
- Microsoft Windows 2003 Server, SP1 (or later)
- Pentium III 750 MHz
- 512 MB of available RAM
- 375 MB hard-disk space for the program files; more may be needed depending on the size of your client data files
- Double-speed or faster CD-ROM drive
Client installations:
A client installation installs the ImmForms Plus program and the full set of forms on a computer. It does not install the ImmForms Plus database. (To install the database, see "Network server (database) installation," page 10 of the User Guide.) PC requirements for installing the client on a PC and the database to a separate, network server.
- One of the following operating systems:
- Microsoft Windows Vista Home, Premium, Business, Enterprise, or Ultimate edition
- Microsoft Windows XP Home, Professional, or Media edition, SP2 (or later)
- Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional, SP4 (or later)
- Pentium III 750 MHz
- 128 MB of available RAM
- 100 MB hard-disk space for the program files
- Double-speed or faster CD-ROM drive
- Monitor supporting 800 x 600 or higher resolution
- A PDF reader such as Adobe Reader or Foxit Reader, installed separately from the ImmForms Plus program
- Network access to the server on which the ImmForms Plus database resides
