and conveniently search many of the news sources using four multibases:
Note: Clicking the database name before the

detailed description of the database on the Internet.
Clicking on the database idenitifier (e.g., ALLNEWS) will take
you to the query screen on westlaw.com so that you can enter a
database search.
- The All News multibase
(ALLNEWS), which
comprises more than 5,700 newspapers, magazines, trade journals,
and transcripts of radio and television broadcasts
- The Dow Jones Major Newspapers multibase
(NPMJ), which includes
news stories from more than 40 of the most widely circulated daily
U.S. newspapers, such as The Wall Street Journal and the

You can run a search using either the Natural Language or the Terms
and Connectors search method. Your search automatically includes
a date restriction. You can change this restriction by selecting
another restriction, e.g., Most Recent 60 Days, from the
Date Restrictions drop-down list. When you want to search
a particular Westnews publication, an industry-specific database,
or a regional news database, click Source List (Directory)
in the left frame of the Westnews page. The Westnews section of
the Westlaw Directory is displayed. Note: If you use WestMate, choose
Westnews (News and Business Databases) at the Westlaw Directory.
