Tom Trenkner is senior vice president of Content Operations for West, the foremost provider of electronic workflow solutions to the U.S. legal profession. Mr. Trenkner's organization is responsible for the production and maintenance of all West's information assets, including comprehensive collections of primary and secondary law, litigation documents, business information and news, and public records.

Content Operations comprises approximately 1,800 employees, including 450 attorneys, as well as editors, paralegals, analysts, developers and support staff. Its major operations are located in Eagan, Minn.; Rochester, N.Y.; Cleveland, Ohio; San Francisco, Calif.; Washington, D.C.; Tulsa, Okl; and Philadelphia, Pa.

Prior to assuming his current position, Mr. Trenkner served as vice president and publisher of West's Primary Law organization. He began his legal publishing career with Lawyers Cooperative Publishing (LCP) in Rochester, N.Y., where he authored ALR articles on a wide range of legal issues and held managing editor positions for ALR, ALR Federal, U.S. Supreme Court Reports, Lawyers Edition and LCP's outside-authored products. He subsequently served as LCP's editorial director of National and Federal Products and as vice president of Editorial.

Mr. Trenkner is a graduate of Indiana University and Indiana University School of Law.
