Kevin Ritchey is vice president of Global Securities Information (GSI) and Transactional Law for West, the foremost provider of electronic workflow solutions to the U.S. legal profession. He is responsible for West's Transactional Law growth strategy and managing the GSI business operation in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Ritchey's experience in the legal information market spans 18 years. He joined West in 1989 as a Westlaw technical support representative and has since managed several business units for the company. Prior to joining GSI, he was vice president and chief operating officer of
FindLaw. Before FindLaw, Mr. Ritchey was vice president, Strategy and Business Development, for West. In this position, he was responsible for managing and directing growth strategies for the business, and led in the successful acquisitions of
Elite,
ProLaw and FindLaw. Prior to West, he was a financial analyst for Northrop Aerospace.
Mr. Ritchey holds a master's of business administration degree in finance from the University of St. Thomas, and a bachelor's degree from the College of St. Scholastica in Minnesota.
