Scott Kinney is senior vice president of Sales & Account Management at West, the foremost provider of electronic workflow solutions to the U.S. legal profession.

Mr. Kinney began his career as a software engineer in Boston, Mass., and spent nine years with The Boston Consulting Group - based for seven of those years in Boston and Chicago, Ill., and two in Melbourne, Australia. He joined online financial services company BigCharts in 1998 as chief operating officer and chief financial officer, and helped sell BigCharts to CBS MarketWatch in 1999. After the sale, he ran CBS MarketWatch's online content business for five years as executive vice president of Licensing.

Mr. Kinney came to West in 2004 as vice president of Strategic Marketing for FindLaw, and became general manager of the business in 2005. He was named to his current role in 2006.

He holds a bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Stanford University.
