database.
The
American Jurisprudence 2d database (AMJUR) is a good place to begin
your research. You can gather background information, determine the
applicable primary law and locate leads to other secondary
sources.
The
database contains the complete text of American Jurisprudence 2d, a
comprehensive encyclopedia of state and federal law. The database
covers more than 400 separate titles on a broad range of legal
topics. Articles provide citations to leading cases, statutes and
rules, as well as references to practice guides, form books,
treatises and law reviews.
To
browse an alphabetical list of all American Jurisprudence 2d titles, access the
AMJUR database and type ci("amjur titles"). You can browse an
entire zx of a specific title by searching for the term outline
and the title name in the citation field (ci), e.g., ci(outline &
"malicious prosecution"). From a retrieved article, you can go
directly to a cited case, statute or other source by clicking its hypertext
link.
